Holiday Tartlet

Easy and elegant, your holiday guests will be asking for the recipe!

Ingredients:
1 sheet puff pastry
1 4.5 oz wedge Heber Valley Lavender Honey cheese
2 tbsp honey
1 tbsp fresh rosemary
¼ cup chopped toasted walnuts
Pinch of sea salt
1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Roll out puff pastry and cut into 12 squares or circles
  3. Press into mini tartlet pans or a muffin tin, prick the bottoms with a fork, and brush edges with egg wash.
  4. Bake for 8–10 minutes until lightly golden.
  5. Remove from oven and gently press down the centers.
  6. Add a layer of shredded Lavender cheese to each tartlet.
  7. Drizzle lightly with honey and sprinkle rosemary and walnuts.
  8. Return to oven for 5–7 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Cool slightly, sprinkle with a pinch of sea salt, and serve warm.
